CHADD of Lee County provides information and support for adults, parents with AD/HD children, and educators and other interested professionals.
When: Meetings are held on the first Tuesday (with the exception of November***) of each month, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Where: at Lee Memorial Hospital Auditorium located at 2776 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers.
Guest speakers provide informational programs, time for questions and answers as well as a time for sharing. An information table is provided. School district inservice credits are available.
CEUs are available through Genesis Counseling of Fort Myers.
Meetings are free and open to the public.
A concurrent adult ADHD support group will be investigated.

September 2 - Understanding AD/HD - Physican & psychologist present in Spanish; concurrent English session. October 7 - Adults with AD/HD November 11 - Diagnosis, Evaluation & Treatment (***second Tuesday of the month) December 2 - AD/HD and School Performance - Educators present for families and educators January 6 - Medication - A Psychiatrist presents February 3 - A Family Forum--bring your AD/HD child March 3 - Behavioral Treatment April 7 - Education Law, Legal Rights & Advocacy May 5 - Living with AD/HD June 2 - A Round Table of Support

Parent to Parent provides educational information and support for individuals and families dealing with AD/HD and learning to navigate the challenges of AD/HD across the lifespan. Courses are offered in local communities across the country. (more)
CHADD does not endorse or represent products, services, publication, medications or treatments. Meetings are free and open to the public, although membership with CHADD is strongly encouraged, since your local group will receive a portion of your dues to continue supporting your community.
