Effective Social Skills and Building Self Esteem
             
Effective social skills for developing and maintaining friendships. 
           Also, concrete actions that parents can take to build self-esteem.

December 1, 2009:    "More 1-2-3 Magic: encouraging good behavior, independence and self-esteem" - Video - by popular and entertaining expert, Dr. Thomas Phelan.  
A quick review of 1-2-3 Magic for behaviors you want to stop, plus techniques for building self-esteem and encouraging good behavior.  Stop the yelling and frustration. Bring all the adults in your house to get everyone "on the same page". Meeting starts promptly at 7:30. 
                                                                    With popcorn for the movie - of course!

                * CHADD Lending Library is open.

 Meeting: 7:30-10PM. 

        A $5 donation is requested of non-members.
       This can be applied toward membership the same evening.

                address teacher concerns, and provide strategies to parents that
                help not only the child succeed, but the teacher succeed.

JUN  3, 2008:    "1-2-3 Magic: Managing difficult Behavior in Children 2-12" video
