Welcome!

ANNOUNCING ADHD RESOURCE FAIR KEYNOTE SPEAKER:  KATHLEEN G. NADEAU, PH.D.

"ADHD Across the Lifespan Understanding, Diagnosis and      Treating ADHD"

Knowing is better! That’s why ADHD Awareness Month is celebrated every October, with events and activities around the world. This year, on October 20th, CHADD NoVA/DC and Montgomery County, MD, are joining forces to present a Resource Fair for the benefit of ALL families in the DMV. We are especially pleased that Dominion Hospital – Northern Virginia’s choice for mental health care -- is co-hosting this year’s event with CHADD.   Our goal is to connect area families with local resources, acknowledging that 2/3 of people with ADHD have at least one other co-occurring condition.  Speakers and exhibiting professionals, schools, and non-profit organizations will give attendees the opportunity to “Build a System of Support” – one that will meet their unique, personal needs.

In addition to Dr. Nadeau, we will have an expert panel discussion and three break-out sessions where ADHD and co-existing conditions will be discussion. Take a look at our agenda:

Feel free to send out the ADHD Resource Fair Flyer electronically; even more conveniently, “Share” our event from the CHADD NoVA/DC Facebook page.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:  CONNECT!  SUPPORT!  MAKE A DIFFERENCE!  Thank you for your help in promoting the Resource Fair and providing participants with the information they’re looking for to build their individual system of support.  We hope to see you there!
