       Parent to Parent: Family Training on AD/HD

A Multi-Session Interactive and Educational Program for Adults and Parent of Children and Adolescents with AD/HD

Seven-session program for parents of children, teens and adults with AD/HD, condensed down to four actual sessions, without deleting any materials or information, for participant's convenience.

Dates:

  • Friday, September 24th, 2010 from 7-9 pm,
  • Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm;
  • Friday, October 15th, 2010 from 7-9 pm,
  • and finally Saturday, October 16th, 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm.

All four sessions MUST be attended to complete this course!

We are currently accepting pre-registrations for the above course of classes! Pre-registration closes Friday, August 20th, 2010!  No registration forms or fees will be accepted for this course, after Friday, August 20th, 2010 for any reason.  The next course after this one will be held on dates yet to be determined.

Location: New Horizon School, 1111 South Carr Road, Renton.

This unique program will include seven two-hour interactive (group participation) sessions that will cover the following topics:

* Overview of AD/HD

* Assessment to Treatment

*Impact of AD/HD on the Family & Creating Developmentally Age Appropriate Positive Behavior Interventions

* Developing Parenting Strategies and Interventions That Strengthen Family Relationships

*What Do I Do when My Child is Having Difficulty at School? Understanding the Federal laws: An Overview of 504 and IDEA

*Working with the Schools: Building an Education Team That Works

*AD/HD Across the Life Span & Adults with AD/HD

This is a very comprehensive program that covers it all!

Each family receives a complete handbook, worksheets and much, much more!

Cost for this program is $125.00 / per member family; $174 / per non-member family*
