We'll continue our Regular Chapter  Meetings
Wed. June 6th with
Dr. Lisa LoPinto and her Interactive Workshop that will teach
parents an effective technique using praise that can improve
their child's behavior and their relationships with their child as well!

Represntatives from WEST HILLS DAY CAMP
in South Huntington will be on hand for a short presentation
CHAPTER SERVICE RECOGNITION AWARDS will be made JUNE 6th
and the annual ELECTION for chapter offices will be conduted.

We Anticipate continuation of our extra
"MEMBERS ONLY" Support Group Meetings
by Inviation, if you've been an active member at our reg.
support groups contact us to be placed on the inviation schedule.

There is a requested donation of $5.00 for non-members

School Professionals and Students will be able receive a CHADD Note of Attendance
for the meeting by request. These notes will be available at the membership desk
at the end of each meeting.

True Life Story
Beth Kaplanek:
Over 20 years ago my family was under tremendous stress and turmoil. I thought because I was a nurse I could handle raising my children with ease. I was so wrong. My husband and I were at odds with each other on how to raise our son with AD/HD and how best to help him. We needed help! We by accident found CHADD. CHADD litteraly saved our family from destruction. I became educated and empowered to manage my son's issues and help the family lessen the stress. We all started working together, thanks to CHADD!.

I immediatly became a volunteer. The best way to learn is to become invlolved.
