Volunteer Opportunities:
True Life Story
Beth Kaplanek:
Over 18 years ago my family was under tremendous stress and turmoil. I thought because I was a nurse I could handle raising my children with ease. I was so wrong. My husband and I were at odds with each other on how to raise our son with AD/HD and how best to help him. We needed help! We by accident found CHADD. CHADD litteraly saved our family from destruction. I became educated and empowered to manage my son's issues and help the family lessen the stress. We all started working together, thanks to CHADD!.
I immediatly became a volunteer. The best way to learn is to become invlolved.
