Gateway CHADD Listserv
If you would like to receive an invitation to the Gateway CHADD listserv, send an email to gateway@chadd.net requesting to be added.  The purpose of the listserv is to provide an easy way for members of the group to engage in timely conversations through e-mail.  The message is sent to the listserv and all members receive the message without each person having to keep track of or even know anyone's e-mail address.  It is the hope of Gateway CHADD that folks will take advantage of this group to reach out to one another in between meetings.  An example would be,"does anyone have a suggestion for my twelve year old who suddenly has no appetite" Presumably, people who had suggestions would respond and all members would see the suggestions and likely benefit from them also.

Do you need immediate assistance?

As a volunteer, I may not be able to get back to you if you need immediate assistance.  If you are seeking information for a time-sensitive event, like an IEP meeting, or are seeking immediate professional advice, please contact CHADD's National Resource Center on AD/HD at 800-233-4050, press 2 (9-5:00 weekdays).  You can also go to www.help4adhd.org for additional AD/HD information.

New to AD/HD or CHADD?  Join our mailing list to receive more information.

If you are not a CHADD member, or are new to CHADD, please register your contact information with CHADD so that we can contact you about local activities.  Your privacy is protected and will not be used for any other purpose except to contact you about CHADD programs and activities.  When you register with CHADD, you will be added to our e-mail address list.

You may opt-out at any time.

Disclaimer:  CHADD does not endorse or represent products, services, publication, medications or treatments. Meetings are free and open to the public, although membership with CHADD is strongly encouraged, since your local group will receive a portion of your dues to continue supporting your community.

Volunteer Opportunities:

If you would like to volunteer your talents to this group, please send us an e-mail at gateway@chadd.net

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:

1. People who are able to volunteer to bring snacks or drinks.  Because who doesn't like to munch?

2. People who have good working knowledge of websites, and mailing lists.  It would be great to have someone keep this website up to date and full of helpful facts.  We would also like to build our mailing list of health care providers and educators who would like to be receiving meeting notices from us monthly.

3. People who are interested in facilitating support groups.  Our goal is ultimately to provide support groups for several different groups in addition to our group for parents of kids with ADHD.
