ADHD Awareness Month Events:
In addition to our regular meeting, these events are coming up in St. Louis in October:


  • October 11: Philly 5K walk. This walk raises money for scholarships for people with ADHD. (The Philly Fund is not associated with CHADD.)
  • October 14: What Every Parent Needs to Know about ADHD, a talk by Chris Dendy. This event is free to the public, at the St. Louis County Library, Thornhill Branch, at 7:00 pm. More Information.
  • October 15: Chris Dendy will present a professional development seminar, Ensuring Academic Success for Students with ADHD and Executive Function DisordersMore information and register. Scholarships are available for teachers in Ferguson-Florissant, Jennings, University City, Ritenour, Normandy, and Riverview Gardens school districts.

We do not have Parent to Parent classes at this time, but hope to offer them in the near future. Please e-mail us at if you are interested in participating or teaching this class.

Ours are small, comfortable groups who welcome all who are interested in sharing successes and challenges.  The groups are very supportive.  Everyone is welcome.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:

* Write a guest blog post for

* Reach out to local doctors and schools to provide education on ADHD and CHADD

* Volunteer with or help with The Philly Fund walk in October to bring awareness of ADHD and to raise scholarship funds.

* People who would like to learn more about ADHD and share this knowledge with other parents.

* People who are able to volunteer to bring snacks or drinks to a meeting. Because who doesn't like to munch?

* People who have good working knowledge of websites, and mailing lists.  It would be great to have someone keep our website up to date and full of helpful facts.  We would also like to build our mailing list of health care providers and educators who would like to be receiving meeting notices from us monthly. 

* People who are interested in facilitating support groups.
