Welcome!
About the Hunt Valley Branch: The branch is managed by a dedicated volunteer.
Meetings are FREE, however CHADD groups are financially supported by memberships and donations, so we kindly ask you to consider joining CHADD to help support our mission of improving the lives of those affected by AD/HD. Your CHADD membership or donation will help support our branch and its programs. For meeting information, please visit the CHADD of Greater Baltimore Website.
Do you need information and resource help? As a volunteer, I try to respond as quickly as possible to all requests about our local CHADD group.
However, if you have a more pressing need for information or assistance about the many aspects of dealing with AD/HD (including diagnosis, treatment options, educational rights, etc.), please contact CHADD’s National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC), online at www.help4adhd.org or by phone at 800-233-4050 (press option 2, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern time).
The NRC is staffed by trained Health Information Specialists who can answer many of your questions about AD/HD and provide other helpful information and resources. (NOTE: although the NRC does not provide legal, medical or other professional advice, Specialists can offer ideas and suggestions to help you find what you are looking for). Community resources and national resources: We will soon have a list of local non-profit organizations, national organizations and CHADD professional and organizational members who have requested to be in our directory in the area in the links section.

There is a fee for the class and it is only available to CHADD members. You can join CHADD when you register for the class or you can join CHADD online or by calling 800-233-4050.

Volunteer Opportunities:
MEETING HELPERS: Do you want to help, but can only offer a couple hours a month of your time? We have some positions that are perfect for you.
HOST TEAM MEMBER: Meeting greeters in the support group meeting room. They make newcomers feel welcome. They make introductions and make people feel comfortable by speaking with them one on one. They provide our first time attendees with their first-time attendee name tags.
HOT SHEET EDITOR: A volunteer who is good at editing/word processing that will assist with updating our volunteer advertisements. You will create/edit the ads and prepare the flyer for distribution at meetings.
