March 2019 Meetings

Anxiety and ADHD

Does my child have this too? Which is which?

CHADD Family Info & Support Meeting

Thursday, February 28, 7- 8:30 p.m.

St. Cyril’s Church at Pima & Swan

***********************

Topic:  Unfortunately, children & adults w/ADHD often have anxiety too.  It is the most common mood disorder in people w/ADHD (even more than depression).  It is also quite treatable without medication. We will talk about how this is diagnosed, how it is best treated & how parents can really help.  Handling it well can make a big difference; and handling it badly can make it much worse.

************************

We will be meeting in Dougherty Hall, a building on the south side of the parking lot.  You get to the parking lot by entering off of Swan, just north of the intersection of Swan & Pima.
