Our meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month and begin at 6:30 pm. We meet on the 10th floor of Nemours. We hope to see you then!
Please note the following regarding meeting at Nemours: After 6:00 pm, the main clinic doors are locked and access to the building is through the staff entrance located on the first level. A telephone is located outside the staff entrance. Pick up the phone and let security know you are there for the ADHD support group. As you enter Nemours, a sign in log is located right next to the Security Office. Everyone has to sign in (please print) and include the location of the meeting.
If you put your email on our sign in sheet at the meetings, you will receive a reminder email about the upcoming meeting. If you would like to be added to our distribution list, go to the "Contact Us" page. Unless you have a general question concerning our monthly meetings, it may take some time for a volunteer to return your email. If you are requesting specific information concerning professionals treating ADHD in our area, Duval CHADD does not provide referrals.

We have monthly speakers and programs that are led by professionals who work with ADHD families in the community. Question and answer periods are held during each meeting. We have the goal of improving communication with the Duval County School System and working with them to provide better in school services for ADHD children.
Are you an adult with ADHD? Come connect others like yourself! Learn up-to-date information and find resources for coping with your ADHD. Be a source of experience and wisdom for parents struggling to understand what their ADHD children are going through. Newly diagonosed? CHADD is a national clearinghouse on evidence-based practices for the treatment of ADHD.
COME JOIN US AND FEEL HOPEFUL ABOUT YOUR ADHD!
DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE MEETING WE CAN NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO ATTEND THE MEETINGS AS WE DON'T OFFER BABYSITTING SERVICES.
Do you need immediate assistance?
As a volunteer, I may not be able to get back to you if you need immediate assistance. If you are seeking information for something that is time-sensitive (such as an IEP/Section 504 meeting at your child’s school), or are looking for a local professional with AD/HD expertise, please contact CHADD’s National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC), online at www.help4adhd.org or by phone toll-free at 800-233-4050 (press option 2, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern time). The NRC is staffed by trained health information professionals who can answer many of your questions about AD/HD and provide other helpful information and resources. (NOTE: the NRC does not provide legal or medical advice, but can offer ideas and suggestions to help you find what you are looking for).
CHADD does not endorse or represent products, services, publication, medications or treatments. Meetings are free and open to the public, although membership with CHADD is strongly encouraged, since your local group will receive a portion of your dues to continue supporting your community.
If you would like to volunteer your talents to this group, please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
