SPRING 2014 EVENTS
Our last chapter meeting for the 2013-2014 Schedule is Wednesday, May 21, 2014
Grant Hasty, LCSW presents a Time & Organizational workshop for Adults with ADHD.
7-9PM 300 E. Main Street, Newark DE
New Adult Meeting Time and Place:
Come join Greater Newark CHADD at the Brandywine Town Community Center for a special meeting of our organization to discuss ADD/ADHD and relationships. Attention Deficit Disorder is now understood to be a condition that can last throughout a person’s life. The variety of relationships affected by what is now known to be a medical condition is broad. Every relationship is potentially affected if one or more of the parties involved is challenged by ADD/ADHD. People with ADD/ADHD feel misunderstood. People in the various relationship roles with those with ADD/ADHD feel that they are not getting the best from that person. The result is the potential for frustration, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy.
Join us to discuss Relationships and ADD/ADHD. We want you to be heard and to know that it is possible to change, and that you can improve your many relationships. We will have an open forum and want to hear suggestions about future meetings specifically about ADD/ADHD and relationships.
Wednesday May 28, 2014 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Brandywine Town Community Center
All meetings are free. We are supported by our members. Please consider joining CHADD Greater Newark Chapter and belong to a group of parents, adults and professionals with one common goal: learning as much as we can about ADHD!
