Open Positions for Board Members

Looking for individuals interested in learning more about AD/HD and how to manage the symptoms, while helping others in the community do the same. Candidates need to possess a willingness to volunteer their time to help others that face similar situations.

Benefits include:

  1. The opportunity to network with others who are going through the same things you are

  2. Learn about resources and shortcuts to help with the challenges AD/HD brings to your life

  3. Experience being part of a team that is sincere, humorous, and can't stand long, drawn out meetings

We use Parliamentary procedure on financial matters only, because it is boring. There may be opportunities to attend area seminars on pertinent topics (Rick LavoieLearning Disabilities Association of America (LDA), Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), etc.) at the chapter's expense so that our members are informed about the latest AD/HD discoveries.

Ideal candidates will have the desire to pitch in where interested and use their existing talents. Candidates should be able to attend quarterly Board meetings and monthly chapter meetings.

Commitment and follow through is necessary. This is not an advisory role - we are looking for individuals who are willing to serve. No experience is necessary.  We can modify current openings to match your area of interest or expertise. We also provide assistance with the CHADD membership fee.
