Chester County/Main Line CHADD Needs YOU!

To help Chester County/Main Line CHADD continue to support families and individuals with ADHD, we need your talents and skills.

Opportunities to Volunteer:  No professional experience required

We need to build our volunteer base; you can volunteer as much or as little as you like!

* Help with publicity and outreach

* Special Projects: event planning, technology assistance, web site maintenance

* Meeting facilitators for support groups

* Bring your unique talents and abilities to our group!

If you are interested in more information about volunteering, we encourage you to contact Sheila Grant at 610-429-4060.

We would love to expand our offerings next fall and winter.  We look to you as our future volunteers to help make that happen.

Sincerely,

Sheila Grant and Kelly Cavanagh

If you have a question about AD/HD that needs a response

Our chapter is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers and are unable to respond to immediate requests for assistance.  If you are seeking information for a time-sensitive event, like an IEP meeting, please contact CHADD's National Resource Center on AD/HD at 800-233-4050, press 2 (9-5:00 weekdays).  You can also go to www.help4adhd.org for additional AD/HD information.  You can download our "What We Know" sheets and find answers to "frequently asked questions".

CHADD does not endorse or represent products, services, publication, medications or treatments. Meetings are free and open to the public, although membership with CHADD is strongly encouraged, since your local group will receive a portion of your dues to continue supporting your community.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support

CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.

Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:

  • Donate to this effort

  • Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups

  •  Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups

  • Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort

For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please visit our web site at https://CHADD..org or contact the CHADD National office at (301) 306-7070.
