A volunteer has contacted CHADD and has requested to start a group in this area. The volunteer(s) is in the process of finding meeting space, finding volunteers and creating a webpage and email address.
If you would like to be added to their mailing list or would like to volunteer to help start the group, please contact CHADD. Please let us know if you would like to volunteer to help start the group, or if you would like to be added to the mailing list.
CHADD allocates a portion of your membership dollars to your local affiliate, so please consider joining CHADD. Once the group has officially started, a portion of your dues will be shared with the volunteer in order to support local programs and services. If the group does not open near you, the membership dues allocated to CHADD national will be used to support the programs and services provided to you through your CHADD membership. Local Volunteer Opportunities
CHADD’s dedicated volunteers play an integral part in the organization’s success by providing support, education and encouragement to parents, educators and professionals through CHADD support groups and Parent to Parent Training on ADHD. On a national level, volunteers work on various committees and the national board or directors and professional advisory board.

CHADD Local Support Groups and Affiliates Need Your Support
CHADD has local support groups in every state in the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. These groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). These groups provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by AD/HD in their communities.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:

Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups

Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups

Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
