Going Back to School in a World of Uncertainty: Coping with Anxiety and Depression

This presentation will focus on understanding how family members may be at risk for anxiety and depression in the fluid and unstable environment of COVID-19. Information on signs of depression and anxiety will be provided. Coping tools and communication with schools for prevention will be highlighted.

Dr. Maker completed her training at the University of Michigan in the dual Child/Family and Adult programs, specializing in behavioral, mood, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Maker is the author of two award winning books on loss.
