Federation for Children with Special Needs

The Federation provides information, support, and assistance to parents of children with disabilities. They are a great resource for special education advocacy and information on IEPs and 504 plans.

Foundation for Children with Behavioral Challenges

This foundation provides information, web site, lectures, and suport group on supporting and living with children with behavioral challenges using the Collaborative Problem Solving approach.


Masspac maintains a state-wide network of parents, professionals, and school-based councils in a shared effort to understand, respect, and support appropriate education for all children with special needs. You can join their online community and get regular statewide updates via their listserv. Masspac also provides a Parents� Desk Reference that lists advocates, attorneys, and other resources.

MetroWest Chadd's Online Community

This online group is for parents of children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and related disorders in the MetroWest Boston, Massachusetts area. MetroWest CHADD is a supportive, informative, and congenial community. We understand that though we love our children, the challenges of parenting a child with ADHD can sometimes be overwhelming. From special education to daily home life, we focus on solutions. Connect with us to find local resources and support.
