Giving to CHADD Helps People
Help an indiviual or family join CHADD to get the support and information that they need to make a difference in their life.
Named in honor of former CHADD President Matthew Cohen, this fund provides the means whereby people who need access to CHADD programs and services but because of personal financial circumstances cannot afford to join, can apply to receive a one-year individual membership provided by CHADD without charge to them. This is part of CHADD outreach and needs annual replenishment.
Donate to the Matt Cohen Membership Fund
Donating online is a great way to show your support for CHADD!
Using this quick and easy method for donating significantly cuts down on the administrative costs associated with processing donations that come in the mail, so a greater part of every dollar goes toward our mission.
CHADD Local Support Groups and Affiliates Need Your Support
CHADD has local support groups in every state in the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. These groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). These groups provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by AD/HD in their areas.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:
- Donate to this effort
- Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups
- Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups
- Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
- Write a letter of support to accompany applications for funding that may be prepared by the CHADD Development Team
For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please contact the Development team at (301) 306-7070: Russell L. Shipley, Jr (Chief Development Officer ext. 110; russ_shipley@chadd.org) or Laura DeShano (Development & Foundation Relations Manager ext 114; laura_deshano@chadd.org).
