How can I volunteer for CHADD?
CHADD is a 100% volunteer-based organization. We are depend upon the talented, committed parents, ADHD adults, professionals, and educators who are willing to step-up and serve our local ADHD community.
Want to get more involved with CHADD?
Becoming a member is the first step. We ask that our volunteers be active participants in the community first—by joining as dues-paying members, connecting with a chapter, attending meetings, and taking time to understand how the chapter serves its members. From there, you can work with your chapter leaders to explore volunteer and leadership roles that are a good fit.

-Education Liason (support parents of school aged children with resources and programming)
-Correspondence Lead (message new members on Meetup to welcome them, reply to chapter email requests for support and resources, may assist with other copywriting as needed)
How do I become a member?
Becoming a member of CHADD is a wonderful, tax-deductible way to support the organization's national and local education, peer groups, and advocacy initiatives. A portion of your annual dues comes back to our local chapter to support our work in California. I don't live in California, can I still attend online meetings and use the Discord Community?
Absolutely! We welcome people from all over the world to our meetings. CHADD has a nationwide network of Chapters offering both in-person and virtual peer support, education, and community. The California chapter is just one option. Start by searching for a chapter or support group in your area on our chapter locator (https://chadd.org/chapter-locator/). If there isn’t one nearby, we encourage you to check out neighboring chapters or our national events calendar (https://chadd.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/chadd/publicaccess/eventCalendarBig.jsp). Because almost all of our chapters offer virtual meetings, you can usually find several groups to join each week, no matter where you live.
