Are you a parent of a child (First through College) with ADHD in need of support? Parenting is hard and ADHD adds an element that can be tricky, meet others who are on the same journey. Meet other parents who understand the impact of ADHD on your life. Websites and articles are great information. But not always so great for support. Sometimes we just need to be heard, or to relay our frustration without being judged. The atmosphere of honesty at our meetings is very refreshing. Some aspects of the ADHD journey are predictable and we can help prepare you for the next stage. Often our members attend a meeting for information on one topic, and find important insights that they didn’t even know they needed.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support
CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:
-
Donate to this effort
-
Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups
-
Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups
-
Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
