Welcome to CHADD of California, a state chapter organized under the national nonprofit Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD). Our purpose is to advance CHADD’s mission to empower individuals affected by ADHD, serving individuals and communities both locally and across the state. We accomplish this by:
- providing evidence-based information;
- supporting individuals, their families, and professionals who assist them throughout their journeys; and
- advocating for equity, inclusion, and universal rights.
Through programs, advocacy, and outreach, the chapter works to address in our local and ADHD communities while upholding the values and strategic goals of CHADD. By fostering collaboration and delivering meaningful support, the chapter ensures alignment with CHADD’s broader mission while making a purposeful difference at the state and community level.
Please check out our Events, Links and More tabs to learn more about the chapter, our meetings throughout the state, and available resources.
We’re glad you are here, and we can’t wait to see you at the next meeting!

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support
CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:
-
Donate to this effort
-
Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups
-
Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups
-
Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please visit our web site at https://CHADD..org or contact the CHADD National office at (301) 306-7070.
