CHADD of California is a state-level extension of the national nonprofit, CHADD (Children & Adults with ADHD). Our chapter is a statewide community where people impacted by ADHD come together to learn, connect, and grow through evidence-based education and peer support — because thriving with ADHD begins with finding your people and knowing you’re not alone.
Through peer-led groups, educational meetups, and community learning events, CHADD of California helps people connect, learn, and grow together. Our online community and resource network extend support beyond meetings — creating a place where anyone impacted by ADHD can find understanding, ideas, and hope. We serve everyone touched by ADHD — children, teens, and adults with ADHD; their parents, caregivers, and partners; as well as the professionals and educators who support them.
Together, we are creating a connected, informed, and empowered ADHD community — one that celebrates strengths, supports struggles, and helps every individual with ADHD live a fuller, more balanced life.
For members who regularly attend meetings, we also offer a very active Discord community for connecting 24/7 between meetings. That link is available to attendees during any of our meetings.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support
CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:
-
Donate to this effort
-
Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups
-
Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups
-
Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please visit our web site at https://CHADD..org or contact the CHADD National office at (301) 306-7070.
