Kate Lakowski is the founder of Education Empowerment Partners, PLLC, providing educational consulting and special education advocacy services to families and school districts. Kate started as a school psychologist, working at a large north shore high school district for sixteen years. Throughout her time there, Kate gained extensive experience with special education eligibility, educational placement decisions, and discipline procedures for special education students. Her background as a school psychologist is central to her collaborative consultative approach, one that is rooted in data-based decision making and catered to an individual student’s unique needs.
