An individual is resistant, doesn't follow directions well or at all, has big emotional reactions, isn't tuning in to their own body's needs or to the social environment successfully, etc... why? It either comes down to psycho-social-emotional challenges, a neurological challenge or a physical challenge (that may or may not have been identifi ed or diagnosed). Strategies that can be implemented at home or in the community.
