Do you have a RESOURCE PROVIDER DIRECTORY of ADHD Doctors, Psychologists, Advocates, ADHD Coaches?
Yes.
Our Directory is curently manintained by our Chapter Coordinator Eric Haracz. We are NOT PERMITTED TO ENDORSE OR RECOMMEND any Specific Proceedure, Treatment or Professional Provider and we follow that requirement.
Upon Your Request we can name Health Service Providers we have become familar with who specialize in ADHD. We do recieve a significant number of requests on our dedicated chapter phoneline 561-622-5035 and via our chapter e mail account Southeast-Florida@chadd.org and have made a commitment to respond as promptly as we can.
Opportunties for new Chapter Volunteers, such as young educators, ADHD parents, working with chapter leaders on respomdimg to these requests as well as helping the creation, promotion and distribution of meeting notifications on social media platforms and at schools and libraries could help the Southeast Florida CHADD Chapter in those regards.
Do you offer Support Groups ?
YES
1 We have just begun to "team" up with Kentucky Chapter of CHADD to join them for their Virtual on line ADULT SUPPORT Group on the first Wednesady of each month (Oct-May). Further Information is under our EVENTS TAB
2 Our Chapter Coordinator often joins a few other CHADD Support Groups all of which are open to out of state paticipation for CHADD Memebers.
These include the Begen County NJ CHADD Chapter selectled as the 2024 CHADD Chapter of the Year with 3-4 support groups, KCADHD the Kansas City CHADD chapter and twice previous CHADD Chapter of the Year, they too have multiple support groups and welcome out of state participation.
We have found the Suppot Groups run by, Seattle CHADD of Washington State , El Paso CHADD of Texas and the Suffolk County (NY) Support Group to be highly worthwhile.

Is a CHADD Membership required to join and participate in your meetings?
NO, Parents of ADHD Youngsters, Adults with ADHD, including those wondering IF or NOT they may have ADHD, as well sincere individuals, students, educators, seeking accurate information about ADHD are all permitted to join our meetings.
Information shared and discussed in the meeting is understood to be private, confidential and kept that way. Appropriate Behavior is expected and monitored. If necessary persons not doing so will be warned and if further necessary a dismissal proceedure would be enforced..
A Basic Indiudual or Family Membership in CHADD is highly encouraged and greatly appreicated.
Indivdual memebrships are $75 Annually, Family Memeberships are $120 There reduced rates for Seniors and Students both at $60.
Opportunities for Professioanal Memebership are set at $195 annually including a Professional Listing in CHADDs National Wide Directory of ADHD Health Care.Providers. Southeast Florida CHADD is proud to already have a few Professional Level Memers affilated with our chapter.
All Memberships come with the Print version of CHADD's bi monthly ATTENTION Magazine as well as acess to its Online version and many years archieved editions. For Professional Memebership comes 2 copies of ATTENTION Magazine are provided;
All Membership provide fuller access to CHADD's vast arrary for resources, such as their many online CHADD ADHD community forums.
Most memebrship of your fee goes toward the Operations and Servives of our CHADD National Office located in the Washington DC. vacinity.
A portion of your Memebership fee (apx 20%) is credited back us at the local chapter to defray costs we incurr such as our ZOOM account subscription and the IT Technical Support we require.
