Welcome to Southeast Florida CHADD, a chapter of the national nonprofit CHADD (Children & Adults with ADHD).
It is with deep appreciation and heartfelt sadness that we share the passing of our longtime chapter volunteer, and Southeast Florida CHADD Chapter Coordinator, Eric Haracz.
Eric was a steady and generous presence in the CHADD community — having previously served as the chapter coordinator for CHADD of Suffolk County NY, and most recently co-founded and served as the chapter coordinator of Southeast Florida CHADD. A special education teacher professionally, he also served as an instructor for CHADD’s Parent-to-Parent training program. He was a regular visitor to other chapters and graciously donated his time and his money to help support the ADHD community.
The chapter is currently under reorganization. In the interim, if you would like to connect with another chapter, please reach out to Customer-Service@CHADD.org.
If you are in immedidate need of ADHD information or support, please reach out to our Health Information Health Specialists M-F, 1-5pm ET at 1-866-200-8098.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support
CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.
Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:
-
Donate to this effort
-
Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups
-
Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups
-
Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort
For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please visit our web site at https://CHADD..org or contact the CHADD National office at (301) 306-7070.
